A Little Bit About Us

Mystic Moon is a small, studio pottery located in North Central Florida. Our pottery is wheel-thrown or hand-built. Every piece is handcrafted and individually made. Current works are earthenware terracotta. We also work with stoneware. Our designs typically range from Celtic, forest, fantasy, and nature-connected magical designs. The Clay We Use:

Terracotta is often associated with planters and garden accessories. There are many different kinds of terracotta clay bodies available. We use a specialty terracotta that is more like stoneware. Our pottery is fired to completion around 2000° F. The end result is a durable ceramic that will last many years. We do not recommend dishwasher use, as a way to prolong the life of handmade pottery. Dishwasher use on handmade pottery can often result in crazing of the glaze, and certain decorations added to the glaze may fade over time.
